This ORIGINAL factory card works great in my Alesis QSR and is made for the entire QuadraSynth line of Synthesizers by Alesis including any of the QS6, QS7, and QS8 models as well as the DG8 Digital Piano, Quadrasynth Plus Piano and S4 Plus

Any original Alesis Qcard will work FINE with the Quadrasynth Plus Piano and S4 Plus Sound Modules. All QCards also will also work fine with the ORIGINAL Quadrasynth keyboard and the ORIGINAL S4 Rackmount Sound Modules, HOWEVER you MUST load a Special Preset Bank into the User Bank first in order for a QCard to work with the ORIGINAL Quadrasynth/S4, and your operating system must be version 1.07 or higher. So, if you own the ORIGINAL Quadrasynth or S4, it may not be very practical for you unless you have the upgraded QS PLUS Piano or the S4+ model.

With its innovative self-referencing design, this card is 100% plug-and-play. Since the piano samples on this QCard are from true stereo-miked sources, the instruments maintain their spatial and tonal characteristics uniformly and phase-accurately across the keyboard. Now you can add these world-class pianos to any Alesis QS synthesizer.

In addition to its great piano sounds, this QCard also contains all of the companion sounds needed for piano layers and splits, like string ensembles, vocal oohs, synth pads, organs, chimes and basses. With this soundset, you'll find everything from bright rock-and-roll pianos to warm, dark, classical sounds, layered "Hollywood" acoustic piano, electric piano/string stacks, and ultra-compressed Euro/House pianos.
