I was a Merchant Navy sailor ashore in Sydney Australia and curiously I bought this in 1987 and recall being told I was first to buy the box set after release (bearing in mind it was officially released in 1988) so not sure how I got so lucky but I remember thinking it was a lot of money for me at the time. The receipt is still in the box with date from the record store! It was 99.99 Australian Dollars.

Darkside Of The Moon and Atom Heart Mother are Quadrophonic versions.

All LPs are Original Australian Pressings!

Vinyl Near Mint Condition on visual inspection although it has been years since I had a record player to play them so cannot verify. I know some albums probably only played once as not so keen but others played more often on a nice quality pioneer turntable.

Box in Very Good + Condition / wear as per photos - note one corner of box torn but likely repairable. Also pencil writing inside box which I scribed myself (maybe erasable) and my old address labels on each album on the back which may be peel able but haven’t tried.

Great condition overall for a vintage collector's box set and ultra rare. It was an Australian release and includes a unique poster (see photos)

After nearly 40 years it may be the best surviving one available. I haven’t seen another and so difficult to value. I can only imagine it is an appreciating asset.

Sad to see it go but I don’t have a record player these days so will be very happy for it to go to a good home where it can be enjoyed and appreciated and the funds will go towards my daughters uni fees.
