I purchased this quilt in 1998 at the Amish quilt auction at the Gordonville Fire Company  in Pennsylvania fundraising auction.  You can see the ticket and auction catalog in one of the photos.  This is a quilt designed for a queen size bed and after a few months we purchased a king size bed and used this quilt in the guest room. It has  been used very gently over the years and is in perfect condition. We are now downsizing and can no longer use this beautiful quilt. I am selling it for the same amount I purchased it for 25 years ago. I know these quilts have gone up in value since then, so although I realize that it might be considered high priced by some, I think it is a bargain considering the value of authentic Amish quilts.  The quilt is beautifully made with a lovely floral appliqués design and the hand quilting is amazing - I show the extensive quilting on the underside of the piece so you can see just how detailed and skilled the sewing is. Side and bottom hem is scalloped and the top edge is straight. I show the quilt on a queen bed and I think it might work on a double but I am. to sure. It does not work well on a king bed. I you purchase the quilt you will also get the auction catalog and ticket as proof of authenticity. The quilt is listed in the catalog. Obviously, you can message me with questions. I realize that shipping may be high so I am offering local pickup for this item. Also, I will look to package it and ship it at the lowest cost possible and if you overpay for shipping I will send a refund.
