Bekannt wurde er vor allem durch seine Porträts zeitgenössischer Künstler. Gilles-Lambert Godecharle (Brüssel 1750 - Brüssel 1835) war belgischer Bildhauer. Er war u. a. in Brüssel, Carrara, Rom und Berlin tätig.

He became famous especially for his portraits of contemporary artists. Gilles-Lambert Godecharle (Brussels 1750 - Brussels 1835) was a Belgian sculptor. He worked in Brussels, Carrara, Rome and Berlin, among other places.
