Utterly gorgeous skirt from ZARA, Named The Sophie Skirt, it features a deep gentle elastic waistband with plaited/braided self-tie belt that is appliqued with seashells and seashell buttons and tassel tie finish. The body of the skirt features alternate panels of self-coloured floral embroidery and broderie anglaise/cutwork embroidery. Hemline is trimmed with the seashells and seashell buttons. It is so pretty and can be styled in heaps of ways throughout the year, style casually in summer with a basic vest, in the evenings with a nice camisole/blouse or throughout autumnal weather with a vest and chunky cardi or sweater/jumper. The elastic has a good grip but is a gentle elastic and not far too tight/small for the body of the skirt which can often be the case, it is excellent on the skirt as it enables you to wear higher up the ribcage (a great option when out for dinner that has left you wish a tummy bulge/bloating as you can just raise the elastic up to your ribcage and disguise it by the fullness of the skirt), it can be lowered further down on the hip area if you wanted to style it to ankle length and also styled as a dress. It's a great length that affords you heaps of options, as are the ewidth of the belt loops as you can remove the self-tie belt and attach one of your own to tie an outfit together, tan, black, orange, white .. whatever you please!
