  • Beschreibung: Blick durch einen spitzen Torbogen in den Hof der Jagellonischen universität Krakau, dem Collegium Maius. Der zweistöckige Kreuzgang mit gotischer Maßwerkbrüstung stammt aus dem 15. Jahrhundert und wurde im 19. Jahrhundert im neugotischen Stil umgebaut. Die Darstellung dürfte den Zustand vor dem Umbau zeigen. Rechts ist eine Ansicht des gotischen Chors der Dominikanerkirche in Krakau zu sehen. Der Blick geht von Nordwesten über gekuppelte Gebäude des Klosterkonvents auf die Westfassade des Chorbaus mit dem steilen Stufengiebel. Beide Darstellungen sind vom Künstler signiert, die rechte trägt zusätzlich die Datierung auf [18]64.

  • Description: View through a pointed archway into the courtyard of the Jagellonian University of Krakow, the Collegium Maius. The two-storey cloister with Gothic tracery parapet dates from the 15th century and was rebuilt in the 19th century in neo-Gothic style. The illustration probably shows the condition before the reconstruction. On the right is a view of the Gothic choir of the Dominican Church in Krakow. The view goes from the northwest over domed buildings of the monastery convent to the west façade of the choir building with the steep stepped gable. Both depictions are signed by the artist, the one on the right also bears the date [18]64.
