this sketch came from a large lot of ron's flash and is in used condition.

Ron Kevie, 1942-2012, lived his life as a coal miner, motorcyle rider, Vietnam vet and self-employed tattoo artist for over 45 years. Ron was born in Taylorville, IL (close to nearby Rantoul) After working as a coal miner, he served in the Vietnam War, where he got his start hand poking tattoos in combat downtime in Vietnam. He worked at Breezy's Tattoo Studio in Rantoul, IL from probably the 1970s until he left IL sometime in the 1980s. He later owned several tattoo studios in CO, TN and KY. This hand painted flash was painted by Ron in the early 1980s at Breezy's Tattoo Studio in Rantoul, IL, South of Chicago. Nearby Chanute Air Force Base provided a steady flow of tattooed skin on military payday until the base
