Presumed to be a project created by an unknown student at USSC's Cowell Press in the 1980s, this print is a reimagining of a book cover for Borges' 'The Basilisk and Other Stories'. Cowell Press acted as a sort of laboratory where students could experiment with words and images, and this print is particularly fine example of the type of creative work that was produced during its thirty-year history. One faint ~20 mm smudge mark toward the bottom of the print.
