This very large impression splint weave basket features a thick curved wooden handle and side slats of the same wood. The top edge has a different rattan or seagrass type material that is woven and stapled. The wood of the basket appears to be a combination of oak and ash, but I am not certain. The base of the basket looks like a type of composite pressed wood material and there are staples attaching it to the sides.

The basket is 18-3/4" long, 12-1/4" wide, 12-1/2" tall.

The condition is as shown in the photographs. Structurally sound.
