Antique Italian painting from the 17th century. Artwork oil on canvas depicting a religious subject, Delivery of the rosary to Saint Dominic of Guzmán, of good pictorial quality.
Painting equipped with a small wooden frame applied to the side of the frame (see photo). At the top right we find the Madonna with child, finely painted in the sky with cherubs at their feet (see photo). The draperies of the garments and of the veil placed at the top left, above the column, are pleasant. Bottom left, St. Dominic of Guzman receives the rosary. At his feet the lily and the dog, characteristic symbols of his iconography.
Artwork of great size and impact, ideal for placing in an important living room, study or private chapel, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of ancient sacred art.

Returns

Free return within 30 days. Clients can annul their purchase within 30 days since the delivery of the good, without any penalty or explanation. Return transport costs are paid by the seller. We cannot accept return of modified or damaged items. Returned goods must be sent us back in their original shipping wooden box.

Antico dipinto italiano del XVII secolo. Opera olio su tela raffigurante soggetto religioso, Consegna del rosario a San Domenico di Guzmán, di buona mano pittorica.
Quadro munito di piccola cornicetta lignea applicata lateralmente al telaio (vedi foto). Troviamo in alto a destra la Madonna con bambino, finemente dipinti in cielo con cherubini ai loro piedi (vedi foto). Piacevoli i panneggi delle vesti e del velo posto in alto a sinistra, sopra la colonna. In basso a sinistra San Domenico di Guzman riceve il rosario. Ai suoi piedi il giglio e il cane, simboli caratteristici della sua iconografia.
Opera di grande misura e impatto, ideale da inserire in un importante salone, studio o cappella privata, per antiquari, arredatori e collezionisti di arte sacra antica.
Dipinto che ha subito un intervento di restauro conservativo, rintelo, sostituzione del telaio e ripresa del colore in alcuni punti (vedi foto). In buone condizioni con qualche piccolo segno del tempo. Luce dipinto H 200 x L 160 cm. H 203 x L 163 x P 4 cm

Antike italienische Malerei aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Gemälde Öl auf Leinwand, das ein religiöses Thema darstellt, Übergabe des Rosenkranzes an den Heiligen Dominikus von Guzmán, von guter Bildqualität.
Gemälde ausgestattet mit einem kleinen Holzrahmen, der seitlich am Rahmen angebracht ist (siehe Foto). Oben rechts finden wir die Madonna mit Kind, fein in den Himmel gemalt, mit Putten zu ihren Füßen (siehe Foto). Die Draperien der Gewänder und des Schleiers oben links über der Säule sind angenehm. Unten links empfängt der heilige Dominikus von Guzman den Rosenkranz. Zu seinen Füßen die Lilie und der Hund, charakteristische Symbole seiner Ikonographie.
Malerei von großer Größe und Wirkung, ideal für die Platzierung in einem wichtigen Wohnzimmer, Arbeitszimmer oder einer privaten Kapelle, für Antiquitätenhändler, Innenarchitekten und Sammler antiker sakraler Kunst.

Peinture munie d'un petit cadre en bois appliqué sur le côté du cadre (voir photo). En haut à droite on retrouve la Vierge à l'enfant, finement peinte dans le ciel avec des angelots à leurs pieds (voir photo). Les draperies des vêtements et du voile placé en haut à gauche, au-dessus de la colonne, sont agréables. En bas à gauche, saint Dominique de Guzman reçoit le rosaire. A ses pieds le lys et le chien, symboles caractéristiques de son iconographie.
Oeuvre de grande taille et d'impact, idéale pour être placée dans un salon important, un bureau ou une chapelle privée, pour les antiquaires, les décorateurs d'intérieur et les collectionneurs d'art sacré ancien.
