The Matek U4A2P is an external voltage regulator, designed with a step-down DC-DC chip, suitable for 7~26V (2~6S LiPo battery) input, with a conversion efficiency of 95% and low heat generation. Very low electromagnetic interference and pure output. The other output voltage is adjustable from 5 to 12 V and can be controlled by the remote control Aux channel. It can be used to supply power to a variety of electronic devices such as multi-axis gimbals, map systems, high-voltage servos, navigation lights/decorative lights, drop-in devices, smoke pullers, etc. It also has a built-in low voltage input alarm function.

APPLICATION 1.

Aircraft powered by 2S-6S, receiver and servo are high voltage version (usually marked "HV" on Futaba equipment)

Application 2.

Multi-axis with charting using 4S to 6S operating voltage

Application 3.

Notes on use:

This is a step-down BEC, if a 12V output is required, the input must be a 4S~6S LiPo.

The positive and negative terminals of the input cable must be correctly connected to the positive and negative terminals of the battery, red to positive, black to negative, reverse connection will damage the UBEC.

The positive and negative terminals of the output wires must be correctly connected to the consumer device, red is positive and black is negative, connecting them backwards will damage your consumer device.

Although the U5A12 has been designed and manufactured to eliminate the generation of electromagnetic interference wherever possible, a small amount of electromagnetic interference will inevitably be generated. This interference is harmless in the vast majority of cases, but for safety reasons it is recommended that the BEC and receiver are kept at a distance.
