Here is a great collectable-Illinois Special Event License Plate issued in "2001 Space Waddle"-these plates were available for purchase and use for a 60 day period only, not to be used after the plate expires date in the right lower corner on the plate. Plate has a Dog in a Spacesuit on a Spacewalk tethered to the shuttle Discovery with Saturn and the Moon in the background. Plate is a light blue painted steel with black script and numbering and the Dog in the Spacesuit is brown. Very nice fun Space related collectable! This was never used on a vehicle so it is in great condition.
