1964 Landrover 200 tdi Automatic on coil springs with front disc brakes. MOT until 21 March 2025. Owned since January 2016.
This is an unusual car and definitely not fully 'original'. I didn't convert it myself so I don't know where the various parts came from originally. It goes really well and will sit on the motorway at 70mph. It's not as noisy as you might imagine from looking at it and the heater is quite good. It also has a small, surface wired, electric heater for screen demist.

It tows well. It's no racing car but I've towed a twin axle trailer, with various cars on, for hundreds of  miles. It's fun to drive and every 'Landrover Geek' will stop and talk to you at fuel stations.

More or less everything works; there isn't much but everything important does. Things to note: Fuel gauge is random, there are no hazard lights, no radio, no aircon and no ABS. The speedo has never worked. I use an old sat nav which is included. Not sure what the mileage is although I've done thousands in it.

It's pretty solid underneath. The body is 'rustic' with some patches of bare metal and previous colours lightly evident in places. As you would expect, it's not completely dry inside, especially in a cross wind! It's quite a comfortable drive. I have been using an ex hairdressing seat as it was more comfortable than the new seat base that came with the car although the new seat base will be included.

There's no manual for it and you are unlikely to get a dealer to service it for you. This is for someone who is handy and has a few tools. The battery shown in the back is included along with the jump leads that I use to start other stuff. It's been very reliable requiring the usual service items over the years and a new head gasket a couple of years ago. It's not Euro 6 compliant but is ULEZ exempt.

It's currently kept, undercover at a storage facility in Watton, Norfolk. For fuel and return train fare, I would be happy to deliver almost anywhere. Ask me.

*ADDITIONS TO LISTING*
Based on some of the questions received:
I don't know what chassis it is. It's solid but, as stated above, the tow bar attachment and welding are scruffy. I've towed with it a lot.
The High/Low range works. I've never tried the diff lock.
All parts that I have used for service and repair have come from a Landrover-only specialist so have all been Landrover parts. I don't have part numbers or age of any parts.
I have never serviced the gearbox.
It does have power steering.
MOT'd until 21 March 2025
