We have repaired hundreds and hundreds of these Porcelier ceiling fixtures, and these are the cleanest we have ever seen. They must have been taken down very early in their lifetime. Honestly, even the cloth wiring was in very good condition but we replaced it anyway. Surprisingly, there was no paint on them at all, meaning no one had ever painted around them, and that is rare!
We have three of these Porcelier two-bulb, flush-mount ceiling light fixtures but this listing is for one. A photo of all three is shown as the last picture. Porcelier was in business from 1928 to 1953 and the fixtures are appropriate for both art deco and mid-century modern design. The background on these is off-white and they have floral accents with lavender, green, and brown. The porcelain looks like it just came from the factory!
Each fixture has been rewired, tested, and is guaranteed to perform correctly. We kept the original porcelain and brass sockets which are signed PORCELIER and which use standard base bulbs (bulbs not included). The sale includes the mounting hardware (antique brass mounting nut, threaded nipple, & crossbar).
The fixture is 10-5/8" long, 6-1/4" wide, and 3" tall (not including mounting nut).
