The 'Waverley Novels,' also known as the 'Abbotsford series,' is a collection of novels by the immensely popular author Sir Walter Scott. The series was named after Sir Walter Scott's home, where he also died in 1832. Waverley was Scott's first novel, published anonymously in 1814 when he was already an established poet. It is regarded as one of the first Western historical novels. He published his later novels anonymously under "the author of Waverley."

CONDITION
In the original publisher's uniform full cloth bindings, titles in gilt to spine and front boards. Externally excellent with only minor shelf wear, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
