Beautiful original Art Deco c1930s Skyscraper design wooden photograph frame, hand made in oak. It has a striking stepped design at both sides.

It currently contains a beautiful vintage botanical print c1850 but it can equally be replaced by your wedding photo or favourite image.

It has a small crack in the glass bottom right but not really noticeable. The oak has a wonderful aged patina, nearly a century after it was made.

The botanical print (included) is of Metrodorea Nigra by CJ Rosenberg and dates from c1850. It is actually rather rare. There is an exact copy currently held in The Wellcome Collection archives. They describe it as a ‘coloured ‘zincograph’. In its own right it has value.

The photo frame looks wonderful with this print inside but you can of course change it to something more to your choosing.

This Art Deco design is timeless. I note that it is much copied by contemporary makers but this one is original to the 1930s.

It will adorn any room you choose to place it. Would make a lovely gift.
