Installation

check

to see if you require

a PRV - pressure reducing valve

before installation

to comply with filter specifications

1/ Turn off water or isolating valve

*
2/ Run off some water from fridge dispenser

to release residual pressure in system

note

water will drain from filter + piping

have a bucket ready + some towels

*
3/ Remove tubing from ends of used filter

note

if connectors differ > remove

cut the plastic tubing

to remove the old used connectors

make a clean new connection

ensure there are no burrs

push fit connectors

push in dark grey collet a few mm

this allows filter projection to slide off

4/ Line up new filter

check

flow direction is correct

see indicator on the filter label

see diagram on side of filter box

5/ Connect water supply end of tubing 
firmly push in

pull gently

to lock in place

*

6/ Flush fridge water filter systems

run water filter into a bucket

until water runs clear

note

as with all new water filters

7/ Turn off water supply

8/ Insert + connect tubing to fridge side

out - end of filter

firmly push in
pull gently on tubing

to lock in place

9/ Gradually turn water on

run some water thru new filter

using fridge water dispenser

to remove any air locks

will take place as air is forced out
