Whopping bulk 1 pound lot of approx. 1,200 Spain ATM stamps (1992-2007)
- I stuffed a Priority Mail envelope full of Spanish thermal ATM stamps (all used, clipped from envelopes & postcards, on-paper).
- Net weight of the stamps in the envelope is 16 ounces (1 lb = 454 grams)
- A 1-ounce (28 gram) sample yielded 75 stamps (x16 = approx. 1,200 stamps, give or take a few...)!
- Price per stamp is only around 3.3¢ each! (Michel catalog value for these is generally $1.50 - $2.00 each in used condition)
These came from several even larger bulk lots of Spanish ATM stamps that I purchased many years ago when I started collecting these stamps and had all of these shipped here from Spain.
Condition: used, clipped from postcards & envelopes. Most stamps are sound, although there may be some damaged ones and/or overly heavily cancelled ones. Remember, this is a bulk lot ...
Duplicates: yes
As a reminder, each of these stamps comes in multiple varieties, with the same design, but with different currency imprints (pesetas vs. Euros), as well as wide vs. narrow thermal imprint fonts and number of digits (from 4 to 6). As such, there are approx. 1,000 varieties across the 125 different designs that were used (not all varieties or designs are present as this is a bulk lot and a great way to start collecting and studying these stamps!).
These stamps are not listed in the Scott catalogs that we use here in the USA since they do not list foreign ATM stamps.
They are however listed in the German Michel catalog for Automaten Marken (ATM stamps), last issued in 2013/2014.
BONUS:
As a result of collecting (& exhibiting) these myself, and no easy access to any album pages here in the USA, I created my own!
Thus, you will receive 2 sets of album pages that I created:
1) 26-page album (1 space for each stamp, including any Peseta vs Euro versions) in PDF format.
2) 111-page album (spaces for all main varieties, narrow vs. wide fonts and number of digits from 4 to 6) in PDF format.
--> Note: the albums pages feature the stamps in the same order as in the Michel catalog (however, I can not use their "numbering system"); a sample page from the 26-page album is shown as the 2nd illustration for this lot.

Big Reminder:
When you receive these stamps, DO NOT attempt to soak them off the envelope or postcard paper. These stamps have: 1) self-adhesive gum which does not release by soaking and 2) have "fugitive inks", meaning any attempt to soak them off an envelope for re-use will cause the inks to wash off the stamp (see my exhibit about this). It is recommended that you closely and carefully trim/clip any excess paper around the stamp. That's what I had to do with my collection.
Will only mail via USPS Flat-Rate Priority Mail Envelope (and its' totally stuffed!).
Shipping within the USA is preferred. If you are outside of the USA, then this item will be shipped to the "eBay International Shipping center" and they will forward it to you. eBay will also take care of any customs/import related items, as such, as there is additional cost and eBay will show you what that will be depending on your country of residence.
--> This is a great way to get started with these fascinating stamps (over 6 billion were printed!); yet few are available in the USA!
