This rare vintage Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 Fountain Pen Desk Set is from my private collection and is in superb "mint" barely-used condition.
This Montblanc piston-filled fountain pen’s center gold band is marked "Montblanc Meisterstuck No. 146" with “Germany” marked on the gold pocket clip band.
The medium 14k Gold Nib is marked "4810 14C Montblanc 585".
The Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 Fountain Pen Desk Set base is marked: "Montblanc Meisterstuck No. 146" on the gold band around the pen socket and prominently displays the classic Montblanc white star logo. The gold monogram plaque on the base is not engraved… and ready for your name or initials. The black resin Desk Set base has a black felt pad on the bottom for protection of desk furnishings and the base itself.
The black resin Desk Set base measures 4 3/4" x 3 1/8" x 7/8" and is in excellent condition with very faint minor and barely visible surface scratches (commensurate with age as expected), but no cracks or glaring chips. This rare vintage Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 Fountain Pen Desk Set includes two (2) full bottles of Montblanc Supercleaner SC21 Fountain Pen Ink (One 52ml bottle of Black ink and one 52ml bottle of Blue ink) in vintage 52ml Montblanc bottles marked "Made in W. Germany" with one ink bottle in original box and packaging as pictured.
