war
ein deutscher Bildhauer. Studium an der Akademie in Berlin, 1930 Professur,
er war Vorstandsmitglied der Künstlervereinigung Berliner Bildhauer,
arbeitete auch als Entwerfer für die Porzellanmanufaktur Meissen. Das Modell
der Ringwerferin wurde im Jahr 1909 geschaffen und existiert neben der
Ausformung in Porzellan auch in Bronze.

REIFENSPIELERIN
Äußerst dekorative vollplastische Darstellung einer
Jugendstilschönheit in weich fallendem, durch Gurte
am Oberkörper zusammengehaltenem Gewand mit
teilweise entblößter Brust, in anmutig schreitender
Pose, den Oberkörper leicht nach hinten geneigt, das
Haar kunstvoll mit großer Schleife zusammengebunden,
in der linken Hand den Reif haltend, in der rechten
einen Stab.
Die Figur basiert auf weißem achteckigem Sockel mit
Goldrändern und Künstlersignatur auf der Oberseite.

BOELTZIG (1863 - 1941)
was a German sculptor. Studied at the Academy in
Berlin, 1930 professor, he was a board member of the
artists' association of Berlin sculptors and also
worked as a designer for the Meissen porcelain
manufactory. The model of the ring thrower was
created in 1909 and, in addition to being made of
porcelain, also exists in bronze.

RING THROWER
Extremely decorative full-sculptural representation
of an Art Nouveau beauty in softly falling robe held
together by straps on the upper part of the body
with partially exposed breast, in graceful striding
pose, the upper part of the body slightly tilted
back, the hair artfully tied with a large bow, holding
the hoop in the left hand, a staff in the right.
The figure is based on white octagonal base with
gold rims and artist's signature on the top.
