EXTREMELY RARE Lot of 4 1880's Handwritten Letters From Montana Territory

DESCRIPTION:  RARE lot of 4 early Montana Territory letters.  All done in early ink handwriting, and all are single page. 

2 are dated 1883 and headed Rocky Pt., Montana, and were sent to J.P. Woolman, the Territorial Auditor..   

1 is dated 1884 and is written to J.P. Woolman, the Territorial Auditor in Helena by John Fisk of Bedford, Jefferson County.

1 is dated1886, also to J.P. Woolman the Territory Auditor in Helena.

ALL REFER TO WILDLIFE KILLED IN CHOLEAU KCOUNTY AND APPROVED BY A JUDGE IN FT. BENTON, MONTANA TERRITORY.   REFERS TO THE LIST KILLED. SPECIFICALLY  36 WOLF SKINS, 44 COYOT SKINS, & 1 BEAR SKIN.   HAS THE INDIVIDUAL PRICES RECEIVED AND THE TOTAL OF $66.

All refer to the animals killed and the bounty due.   Great detail about that, in the early days of Montana and the West, and many towns and places in Montana mentioned.   A GREAT EARLY 1880 COLLECTABLE ITEM FROM THE MONTANA TERRITORY!!!
