An original 1984 MFSL master UK copy from the BOXSET. Mono format. Pressed inJapan. Now, the full BOXSET is mega pricey these days. So, this is an opportunity for someone to just purchase the debut stand-alone. It's also a possibility for someone to take a 1st step into mobile territory without shelling out £900 for the whole box. And see if they really like it enough to proceed and go the whole hog. Either way - an excellent audio investment from which ever way you look at it. It's the STONES debut and an all time classic. It never really goes out of fashion.

Vinyl (Ex+) Cannot see a single mark of any degree. Take a close look at the labels and those spindle holes! Surfaces are pristine and practically untouched. PLAYS EXCELLENT+ from start to finish. Maybe 1 slight tick isolated per side. perfect playback. Having listened to lots of original 1964 copies I can tell MFSL have done a great job of re-creating the sound ambiance on the initial Decca pressings. And the original copies always sound great on a well cared for copy. Maybe there's a bit more low-level detail here. A bit more insight deep into the mix. But the FEELING of the LP is very reminiscent of listening to a 1st issue Decca - and that can only be a good thing. As I understand it @ 1984 this is an ALL analogue cut. And - to me- that is important. The audio signal has not passed through the digital domain. That's why we're hearing all that lovely warmth that can be found on the 1st issues too. I have to say for a reissue - they did a great job. I can't really throw anything negative at it. Even the quietest moments are clean as a whistle. Faithful, energetic, detailed, warm. I am lovin' it.

Cover (Vg+) Perfectly decent condition. A couple of scuff marks on the front. Slight edge wear in places. Very nice overall with pine 80% intact.
