Pair of Restored Efcolite Porcelain Sconces & Glass Shades, Art Deco & MCM, Excellent!

These white porcelain bath sconces were manufactured by Efcolite in Trenton, NY.  With their stepped sides, they are clearly art deco in style and were probably manufactured during the 1930's.  However, these designs were popular into the early 1950's and these could date from early in the MCM period.  The porcelain is in very good condition, and the few minor flaws they have are original to the fixtures.  The sconces even have the correct porcelain pull knobs which is a bonus because these are missing more often than not.  The glass shades are also in good condition, but they are not perfect and they show some darkening in the frosted white areas and a some loss to the frosting near the bottom of one shade.

Each fixture was rewired and is ready to hang on the wall. We have carefully cleaned the porcelain and removed all of the dirt and wall paint along the sides and backs. The pull chain switches work perfectly, but if you have a wall switch, you can just put the sconce switches to ON and use your wall switch. We added new nickel plated chains to brighten them up.  The wiring is new. Everything has been tested and is guaranteed to work correctly. Mounting hardware is included.

Dimensions: 4-1/2" x 6*3/4" where sconce meets the wall,  8-3/4" high from top of shade to end of chain knob; projects 5" from the wall with shade in place. Use standard base bulbs (not included).

The sconces are guaranteed to be as described and we will accept their return if the buyer is dissatisfied.  Just notify us within 30 days of receiving them.

Shipping is the buyer's choice of USPS Ground Advantage, FedEx or UPS Ground, or USPS Priority Mail.
