This is for a shop sample gown Gather and Gown New With Tags, Bronze/Gold/Champagne (colour is actually called Sparkling Champagne) "bridesmaid" Size 8 dress (or Attendant dress, or Mother's dress or Destination dress, or Formals dress!!...) This gown is a shop sample and has been tried on a few times in the shop. It is in brand new and never been worn condition, never altered, and shows no signs of having been tried on.
These gowns are VERY small sizes, so their size 8 fits more like a "street size" 4 or 6. That is why I have it labelled as a 6 on the listing; this is so much smaller than a department store or mall size 8.
The size chart indicates that the measurements of this size 8 bridal gown are; 36 inch bust, 30 inch waist, and 40+ inch hip. Please keep in mind that ALL designer gowns require altering, as they are made for very tall, very large-breasted women, and it's the alterations that give that million-dollar fit! Most people require adjustments around the bust and straps, and sometimes a little in the waist for fit. This is the case with all new bridal gowns. These gowns can easily be taken in 2 sizes by a professional bridal seamstress, and can be let out a bit as well.
I would totally add pockets if I were to wear this gown!
Also to note; these dresses are quite long and usually need hemming to hit just where you like. If you desire more coverage or a sleeve, a seamstress can make a flutter sleeve or other style with the fabric remnants from hemming or by sourcing fabric. :) The straps are not attached. (x cross, halter, regular)
