This is a beautiful figurine or paperweight. The Chinese snake Zodiac. Has a gold metal snake on an etched crystal or class base. There is a little ball thats sits on the snake. I am not sure if it is to be attached but I think is and has come loose. It is glass too I believe. Overall stands 4.5 inches. About 3.5 inches wide. There is a  small gold plaque attached to the top of the base...maybe the maker. No chips or breaks besides the ball not being affixed. Box shows wear.
