Speaker itself is in very good looking shape.

Tested by sending a low 3V audio tone through it, seemed to work but very low volume for that signal.

This is a high impedance speaker so a typical amplifier would need a low to high impedance transformer to operate this speaker. 

Wood has some shelf wear but in amazing good shape for being nearly 100 years old. It could use a fresh coat of lacquer.
