This is a Dutch East Indies 1847 Pre Stamp Full Letter.  It was sent from Batavia to Groningen. 

The thing to note about this cover is that it is a DISINFECTED cover with a complete letter.  It shows the BATAVIA HALF ROUND & MALTE CIRCLE in black on the front.  There is also the black ALEXANDRIA Receiver on the back!  This is a VERY RARE Cover.

Take care because this item, though in very good shape, is still extremely old!
