Presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March of 1992, the EB110 SS (Super Sport or Sport Stradale) had an extra 62hp for a total of 603hp, compared to the EB110 GT with 541hp. It was also 330 pounds (150 kg) lighter. The lighter weight and more powerful engine gave the car a top speed of 221 mph.
The SS was created for those customers who wanted a hardcore performance-oriented EB110.
