Six years in the making, Pagani's latest million dollar, hand-built hyper-car, made it's public debut at the 2017 Geneva Auto Show.  Company founder Horacio Pagani called it the most complicated project they have ever undertaken. Quite a statement coming from a man with an eye for the ambitious. 

Interestingly, the removal of the hardtop roof actually helped reduce the weight since unlike other convertibles it relies on a stiff monocoque chassis rather than extra engineering to keep the chassis rigid. The Huayra Roadster has a dry weight of just 1,280 kg (2,821 pounds) compared with 1350 kg for the coupe. This is an especially impressive feat considering that at the time of its debut, the Huayra coupe was the lightest hyper-car on the market.

The Huayra Roadster uses the same 800hp custom built version of the Mercedes-AMG 6.0L twin-turbo V12 as the Huayra BC. 

Ventilated Brembo carbon-ceramic rotors with six-piston calipers are used up front, while four-piston calipers with carbon-ceramic discs are used in the rear. Staggered-diameter, forged-aluminum 20" APP Tech wheels are up front and 21" at the rear. Pirelli developed P Zero Corsa tires specifically for this car; they help enable an incredible 1.80 g of lateral grip, according to Pagani.

How much does the Pagani Huarya Roadster cost you ask? The "Base Price" is $2.41 million, before any personalized options. But don't run for your check-book, the entire worldwide limited production of 100 cars is already sold out.
