In 2013 both the street and race version of the Gallardo received a facelift. The street version was unveiled at the Paris motor show and shortly thereafter Lamborghini unveiled a new LP 570-4 Super Trofeo racing car.
Based on the track-proven chassis of the previous version, the new Super Trofeo received the same styling tweaks as the street version. The biggest change is a new aerodynamic kit, which includes a new ten-way adjustable wing. The changes improve the new car by120 percent over the 2012 version.
Overall downforce has been increased and with new brake cooling ducts thermal efficiency was increased by 50 percent.
