What a quaint and sweet little earring...

This singular clip-on earring, is most likely from circa late 1930's to 1940's. It is made of a brass metal base, that was finished in silver, and depicts an ornate repousse or 3-D floral theme design. This earring simply hugs the ear, and looks the same at front or in reverse. The hinge is still quite smooth, although it doesn't have the firmest grip - I would suggest wearing this on thicker earlobes, or perhaps at another area of the ear. No signatures or maker's marks present. The overall condition is good to fair, with some obvious tarnishing to the surface silver, ad the aforementioned loosened grip. Please review photographs for full details. Again, this is for a SINGLE earring.
