Product's Introduction

The High Power X Full Solid, reinforced with carbon tape in an X pattern over the outermost layer of high-strength solid glass material, transcends mere solid glass with its monstrous strength, capable of lifting monster Yellowfin tuna without allowing even the slightest bend or twist. While retaining the tenacious characteristics of solid glass, it addresses issues such as twisting and power loss. The tip is designed for flexibility, surprisingly delicate in detecting the bites of Yellowfin tuna, promoting natural hook setting. From the belly to the butt, it achieves a balance of cushioning and tenacity, essential for powerful pumping battles with Yellowfin tuna. The blanks, pursuing extraordinary power and operability, are equipped with all-gold HB guides, double-wrapped for robust fixation, an original design aluminum reel seat to minimize reel play, and a non-slip type bar tape for the front grip to fully transmit the angler's power. All are engineered for confronting big game. The evolution of the dedicated big game High Power X Full Solid × One Piece rod is here.

Monster-class appearances have ushered in a new phase for Yellowfin tuna fishing in Sagami Bay, dominated by blanks with unparalleled performance. Recently, Yellowfin fishing in Sagami Bay has started to include catches exceeding 80kg. In fights with large fish, even slight power losses can deplete an angler's stamina. The Beastmaster Yellowfin utilizes High Power X Full Solid, which enhances the high-strength solid glass material's outermost layer with carbon tape in an X shape, maintaining the glass solid's performance while suppressing issues like twisting and power loss. It pursues extraordinary strength from all directions, ensuring dominance over big game. Although shorter rods make fighting easier, they can complicate stabilizing the setup. Observing Tanacom, it's noticeable that Yellowfin entering Sagami Bay tend to avoid and distance themselves from the lead sinker over time. This leads to skippers lowering the depth and using longer leaders, but most importantly, stabilizing the lead sinker without alerting Yellowfin is crucial for capitalizing on rare opportunities.

The Beastmaster Yellowfin features a softer tip to facilitate easier setup stabilization, notably when using 100-120 number lead sinkers, preventing the rod tip from dipping and bouncing.

The action is the same 6:4 as the previous model, but the tip (the 4 part) is softer and thinner, while the base (the 6 part), including the grip, is made stronger.

When under heavy load, the rod bends around the second or third guide from the tip, making it less likely to be swung around during a fight with large Yellowfin, suited for pumping with stable, short strokes rather than gaining distance in one go, accommodating the increasing size of Yellowfin in Sagami Bay over the years.

The glass solid material of the blanks is inherently tenacious against bending. By addressing issues like twisting and bending-induced power loss with High Power X Full Solid, it results in blanks that, when bent, bounce back, i.e., have good recovery power, making it easier to reel in fish while being gentle on the leader, thus easier to bait and fight. This is the new Beastmaster Yellowfin, featuring an original design aluminum reel seat with a beautiful design and robust fixation.

The original design reel seat with cushioned double nuts prevents play and ensures secure fixation while also preventing scratches, made from lightweight, high-strength aluminum material, enduring fights with monster Yellowfin and featuring a beautiful finish. The aluminum hold position (grooved) is a crucial support point in Yellowfin fishing, providing excellent fixation strength and reliability during actual fishing with its lightweight, high-strength aluminum material and grooving. The front grip with bar tape, no matter how excellent the blanks are, can't perform its best in a standing fight if the grip slips. A non-slip type bar tape is used for the front grip, ensuring the angler's force is fully transferred to the blanks. The all-gold color frame SiC guides (double wrapping) are fixed to the blanks with double wrapping for stainless steel all-gold color frame SiC guides, ensuring durability for harsh conditions and maximizing the blanks' power. The large fighting bottom disperses pressure when the rod butt is pressed against the waist during standing fights, reducing the burden and supporting long battles with monster Yellowfin.
