Early American fiddleback silver spoon. Stamped J Gaither. Measures 7.5 inches.

Monogram H. This is a family heirloom and I believe the “H” monogram is for the Holmead family of the Washington DC area at that time. Gaither was a Silversmith in the area at the time as well. I am a direct descendent of the Holmeads.

Nice piece. Light scratches from age and use. No dings, bends or gouges.
