This stunning Zanzibar First Issue Stamp is an SG 17 Variety, the 1 Rupee Slate, issued in 1895. 

This is the RAREST STAMP of the first issue, and on top of that, this one shows a doubling of the ZANZIBAR Overprint.  It also has an unlisted 'h' used for the 'b' in ZANZIBAR.  This one is possibly unique!

This little beauty is in Mint Very Fine Condition, and is valued at L130+++ in the Stanley Gibbons Catalogue.
