Interesting, highly collectible, primitive weaving tool. A great gift for a weaver to either use at home or just admire its history as a decoration.

It is hand carved, heavy, dense wood and would have been used to beat the weft of a rug into place or maybe a tapestry. Also known as carpet or loom weaving comb or an artisan weaving tool. Could be from the middle East, not sure.

Measures about 12-1/2” long and 4-1/2” wide.

Condition: worn teeth on one end. Please see the photos.
