Rohan Leeway sage green long sleeve shirt UV protection hiking sz 18 *flaws*.

Rohan are always a strong brand and this shirt is no exception. It's got the discreet pocket, the UV protection, the hanging loops, the sleeve straps, and the fact that it's super lightweight and a very pleasing colour. A tricky one to capture the colour of, the full length photo is too pale and it is more intense, a shade of sagey peppermint I'd call it.

There are a few flaws to this one, and given the laundry label seems to suggest it is 10 years old the fabric is still in pretty good shape. Some might immediately say no to this piece but I'd just rather like it to be worn rather than go to landfill. There's some faint marks to the back and I've photographed these. There is a broken stitch on that hidden pocket on the front.

The most significant flaw though is the missing overlocking stitches on the inside of the sleeve means there is a hole and by hole I mean a lapse in stitching between the 2 pieces of fabric rather than a tear or wear hole. It is not overly visible but could obviously do with a few stitches dropping in it to stop the gap and prevent it getting bigger. Photos of all are provided for you to make up your mind if this is something that would stop you making a purchase but I'd say it's still got a good amount of life to it.

Why am I not getting my needle and thread out? New viewers may not know of my self confessed complete lacking of haberdashery related skills. I'm just as liable to sew it to myself than fix it so I'd rather more skilled hands give it a try for a more competitive price.
