The only flaw with this mitt would be that it appears that the original owner cut some lines in the leather to cause the ball to stick to the leather better ! It looks to me like it worked well for him…the cuts are not deep and the leather is not damaged……it also appears that the original owner oiled up the glove on a regular basis as the leather is soft and flexible…..so the glove is good to go for a long time ….

I have a Nike KDR-CMY Diamond Ready 31” Youth Baseball Catchers Mitt in fully broken in condition ! This glove is for the RIGHT handed thrower as the glove fits on the LEFT hand ! This particular glove is thick, it is well padded, it is fully broken in and it is game ready ! The padding on this mitt is very very thick and you can catch high velocity baseballs rather easily with this mitt ! If you have pitchers throwing at a high velocity then you will want this mitt on your hand ! This glove can handle the heat ! The glove also has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos ! So once the ball enters the pocket of this mitt it is not going to pop out ! Checkout the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove just wraps itself around the baseball and the 6th photo how the glove looks in the closed position without a baseball in the pocket ! The 7th photo shows the glove with a full size 12 inch round softball in the pocket ( So as you can clearly see that this mitt will probably not work for softball ) ! The inner lining is in excellent condition and the glove is extremely comfortable to the hand snd the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls ! As far as fitting goes, the glove is a snug but comfortable fit on my average adult size hand ! I don’t see any ink or marker anywhere on the glove ! You will not be disappointed with this glove !
