Here's a collection of baseball cards and memorabilia 10 year old me started collecting in the 1980s. I was a fan of the Mets and Dwight Gooden, so a portion of the items are focused on them.

In particular, I want you to consider the scrapbook I made with newspaper articles from 1987 to 1992. Of interest should be the article where he was the highest paid player in the MLB at $6.7 million (!), his comeback when he played for the Tidewater Tides. They were my most local baseball team and the farm team for the Mets. I even have an ad of him for Kingsford charcoal I cut out of the Sunday Parade magazine. There are 19 pages that show his success and his failures. I am certain you won't find anything similar to this on ebay.

600 Baseball cards,mostly from late 1980s & early 1990s

2 baseballs signed, one is obviously printed, but the D Gooden one came with a wooden stand and cert that got lost in a move.

I met Keith Atherton after he pitched in the World Series where his team, the Twins won. He lived in a rural county next to mine and they had an autograph session at a feed and hardware store, IIRC.

I searched for all the magazines and similar items here on ebay and used a price based on the median list price. I then cut that total in half because I want to sell these before I move in 2 months.

All of these items weight about 13 pounds!

I couldn't possibly write down the details for every item, so if you have questions let me know and I'll add photos for it.
