Vintage Karrimor brown utility Element Defence gorpcore jacket UK sz M *flaws*.

A piece of British finery for the gorpcore collective. Clearly this jacket has been well loved already but from the very wash worn laundry label you can still see that this Karrimor was made in the UK. As well as being part of the Element Defence System it is also a Polartec fleece. No I've no idea what this means either but it's there! The fuzzy ribbed fleece gives a cosy feel and the spectacularly vintage looking buttons pull together a significantly oversized garment with some seriously roomy chore pockets to boot.

The flaws are multiple but understandable given I'm estimating this to be a 90s garment, which also might explain why the sizing is so massive for a medium. Please do check the measurements below before purchase. There are a couple of scorch marks which I have included photos of me pointing to. Nothing dramatic but I want to make sure you know about them. The top button is missing and unfortunately there is no spare but the button hole is there in case you want to find one of your own to attach. Frankly it looks fine without it and I'd find that a bit stuffy with the top one done up.

The colour is a pleasing pale brown I think and is best shown in the front across the shoulders photo and it is paler than that shown. I'd call it milky instant coffee with a decent scoop of the coffee.
