This is a very lovely cowl neck jumper from the late 1930's.
The jumper and welts are knitted separately and then sewn
together. The neck edge is finished with a couple of rows of
crochet.

The original yarn used was Femina Botany fingering 3 ply on
No. 9 (3.75) and 13 (2.25) needles. You will need approx 8 oz
(230g)

TENSION:  7sts. and 9 rows to 1 inch

The sweater will fit up to a 40 inch Bust

The needles are old sizes so I have included a conversion
chart for reference to modern sizes.

This is for a quality laminated copy of the original pattern
not a paper copy, so will last forever! (hopefully!)

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THIS IS FOR A COPY OF THE PATTERN
