This is an original Antique Ming Period (1368-1644) Porcelain Blue / White Ceramic Shard Pendant set in .925 Sterling Silver.  All of the pieces in my collection were individually handpicked by my father who was a Malaysian resident and myself from antique shops in Ayutthaya & Bangkok Thailand in the early 1970's.  Most of the pieces were purchased from the well established Antique Dealer Anna's Antiques located in the Bang Rak district of Bangkok.  The jewelry was purchased primarily for his antique shop located in Penang, Malaysia. This beautiful, unique and genuine piece of jewelry is made from a broken shard of well over three hundred year old Chinese export porcelain produced for the domestic Southeast Asian market and was most likely found in the Chao Phraya river or Gulf of Thailand.
