Sadly having to sell this Volvo after recently buying it for its size, being a rare estate model, Automatic and full length sunroof. I will be selling it at a loss as it has developed a fault which I was told is most likely fuel, carb or pump. The symptoms was it runs lovely up to 40mph then cuts out, spluttering and stops. No overheating issues. I have changed oil & filters on purchasing it with view of using the car but already have a small reliable classic car so this has to go after same symptom on cleaning carb and replacing diaphragm. I removed petrol pump and although stiff initially seems to pump. I still haven't fitted it back due to thinking do I just replace with new...? Then constant bad weather and no time to get it running. Its had 4 previous owners, Tax & MOT exempt obviously, new v5 in my name. I have e also been in contact with previous owner. In very good condition for age and signs of it being a well cared for car....Will require minor body work repairs if you want to improve it and add value ....has 2 new rear arch repair panels in back. Excellent original interior for age and good carpets. Auto gearbox worked lovely and evidence of new braking systems and receipts.Will be a great car I'm sure.
