Fire and fighting are the flower of Edo, and the kabuki play "Kami no Megumi Wago no Torikumi Shinmei Ewago Battles" by Takeshiba Kisui is truly a spectacle of a duel between the head of the Megumi, Tatsugoro, and a sumo wrestler, Yotsuguruma. It is based on an actual fight involving 99 people.

The pattern is dyed using the Hosokawa dyeing process, in which the process "Itaba, Konya, Mizumoto, and Date" is repeated two or more times to complete a single pattern. High-level techniques are required to fit the pattern and adjust the colors.

Please note that the color may transfer due to perspiration or friction at the beginning of use, as this is a traditional craft (shizome). When washing, please hand-wash alone with plenty of water. Hand Dyed | Made in Japan 100% Cotton
