Ch. V . Werff (19. Jahrhundert), Jüngling mit Vogelkäfig an einer Fensterbrüstung, 19. Jahrhundert, Kupferstich

  • Technik: Handkolorierter Kupferstich auf Papier

  • Bezeichnung: Unterhalb der Darstellung in der Druckplatte mit dem Namen des Künstlers versehen. Das Blatt ist Teil einer Sammlung und bezeichnet mit Du Cabinet de Mr. le Duc de Choiseul . Oberhalb ist das Blatt in der Druckplatte mit 52 nummeriert.

  • Datierung: 19. Jahrhundert

  • Beschreibung: Halbfigurige Ansicht eines edlen Jünglings sowie eines Mädchens mit einer Katze im Arm, die an der Brüstung einer rundbogigen Fensteröffnung stehen. Der Jüngling öffnet den Käfig und greift nach einem kleinen Singvogel im Inneren. Nach einem Original von "Ch. v. Werff" von um 1700.

  • Zustand: Sehr guter Zustand. Das gesamte Blatt weist geringfügige Verfärbungen sowie einzelne blasse Stockflecken auf. Die Blattecken sind schwach bestoßen. Links unten auf dem Blattrand ist eine Druckstelle im Papier zu sehen. Die Darstellung macht einen tadellosen Eindruck. Die Farbigkeit ist frisch erhalten.

  • Inscription: Inscribed with the artist's name below the image in the printing plate. The print is part of a collection and inscribed Du Cabinet de Mr. le Duc de Choiseul . The print is numbered 52 above in the printing plate.

  • Date: 19th century

  • Description: Half-length view of a noble youth and a girl with a cat in her arms, standing at the parapet of a round-arched window opening. The youth opens the cage and reaches for a small songbird inside. After an original by "Ch. v. Werff" from around 1700.

  • Condition: Very good condition. The entire sheet shows minor discolourations as well as single pale foxing spots. The corners are slightly bumped. A print mark is visible in the paper at the lower left margin. The image makes a perfect impression. The colours are freshly preserved.
