Hachette POCKETWATCH COLLECTION Magazine and Pocket watch - No14 'The New'

The magazine was published in 2005 and each edition featured articles plus a modern pocket watch in a specific historic style. This magazine & example combination highlighted the different designs as they evolved over decades plus the history of watch & clockmaking

Magazine -  Beautifully photographed and illustrated. Published by Hachette Partworks Ltd, London in 2005. 

The magazines were designed so that the pages could be separated if required to file the pages covering a particular subject together, even if they appeared in different editions eg history of clockmaking, wristwatches, masterworks - for your information this magazine has been filed as published

Watch - Issued with each magazine to illustrate a specific style. 

Although the watch was in working order when new & could have been used as a working timepiece, it has been displayed in a cabinet. If fitted with a new battery the watch may well be in working order. As it has been used purely as a display item it has not been serviced. 

Note: This example of a pocket watch was to illustrate the magazine articles, rather than withstand the vigours of everday use. 

Condition: The watch has always been displayed in a covered cabinet. The magazine has been read but the pages have not been marked, torn or folded and are as new.  The watch will be well protected for postage. See also photos for condition
