  • Bezeichnung: Unterhalb des fingierten ovalen Rahmens befindet sich der Name des Dargestellten. Darunter ist das Blatt in der Druckplatte vom Künstler signiert und auf 1776 datiert. Die Darstellung stammt aus einer umfangreichen Serie berühmter Personen des 18. Jahrhunderts von dem italienischen Künstler Vincenzo Vangelisti.

  • Beschreibung: Brustbild en face mit gedrehtem Oberkörper. Der Dargestellte trägt eine zivile pelzverbrämte Jacke mit den ihm verliehenen Verdienstorden: Chevalier de Saint-Louis, Grand Croix und Ritter des weißen Adlers.

  • Zustand: Guter Zustand. Das gesamte Blatt weist Wellungen und schwache Verfärbungen auf. Entlang der Blattkanten befinden sich einige, teils deutliche Flüssigkeitsflecken. Die seitlichen Blattränder weisen dunkle Flecken auf. Entlang der rechten Blattkante ist das Papier durch Knicke und Stoßspuren geringfügig beschädigt. Die linke untere Blattecke ist diagonal geknickt. Der Druck macht einen frischen Eindruck.

  • Inscription: Below the fictitious oval frame is the sitter's name. Below this the sheet is signed by the artist in the printing plate and dated 1776. The depiction is from an extensive series of famous persons of the 18th century by the Italian artist Vincenzo Vangelisti.

  • Description: Half-length portrait en face with turned upper body. The sitter wears a civilian fur-trimmed jacket with the orders of merit awarded to him: Chevalier de Saint-Louis, Grand Croix and Knight of the White Eagle.

  • Condition: Good condition. The entire sheet shows waviness and faint discolouration. Along the edges of the sheet there are some, partly distinct, liquid spots. The lateral margins of the sheet show dark stains. Along the right edge of the sheet the paper is slightly damaged by creases and bump marks. The lower left corner of the sheet is bent diagonally. The impression of the print is fresh.
