  • Bezeichnung: Unterhalb des fingierten ovalen Rahmens befindet sich der Name des Dargestellten. Darunter ist das Blatt in der Druckplatte vom Künstler signiert und auf 1777 datiert. Die Darstellung stammt aus einer umfangreichen Serie berühmter historischer Personen von dem italienischen Künstler Vincenzo Vangelisti (um 1738 Florenz - 1798 Paris).

Entlang der Blattoberkante und der Unterkante befinden sich einzelne blasse Flüssigkeitsflecken. Entlang der rechten Blattkante ist das Papier geknickt und minimal angerissen. Rechts oben befindet sich ein punktförmiges Loch im Papier.

  • Inscription: Below the fictitious oval frame is the sitter's name. Below this the sheet is signed by the artist in the printing plate and dated 1777. The depiction is from an extensive series of famous historical persons by the Italian artist Vincenzo Vangelisti (c. 1738 Florence - 1798 Paris).

  • Condition: Good condition. The entire sheet has undulations and is slightly soiled along the edges. There are individual pale liquid stains along the top and bottom edges of the sheet. Along the right edge of the sheet the paper is creased and minimally torn. There is a dot-shaped hole in the paper at the top right.
