For sale an original copy of the October 23, 1978 issue of the Long Island, NY weekly entertainment magazine/newspaper "Good Times" (Issue #208) featuring The Commodores on the cover.

The cover photo is accompanied with the headline "We'll Always Be Hot on the Tracks"

This issue contains a two (2) page article on the Commodores along with stories on  The Crusaders, The NY Film Festival, Bob Dylan, Cheap Trick, and loads of reviews and ads including the original Manny's .

New York had a great local club scene with many live acts in the late 1970’s and 1980’s. It is a nostalgic look back at Club advertisements for Sparks, Right Track Inn, the Grand opening of Hammerheads with Rat Race Choir, Rum Bottoms, Great Gilder Sleeves, and when you could see Talking Heads live at My Father’s Place!!

I have owned this copy since its release in 1979. It has been stored for 45 years. The condition is good except for folds on the front page along the general storage yellowing. See the attached photos.
