Hand carved truly spectacular and unique pair, designed by Carleton Varney (tag still present). Carleton was the president of Dorothy Draper & Company, often referred to as one of America’s best known interior designers.

This pair is solid wood, even the tassels are solid wood! Light signs of vintage wear, as photographed. One area where the little arches were previously repaired, not noticeable when staged and doesn’t impact structural integrity. Always happy to send additional close ups upon request.
