1770 to 1780 Georgian natural, unheated ruby ring with silver top and rose cut diamonds.  I bought this from my friend @ladycessalove who is an expert on Georgian jewelry.  I have been it's caretaker for several months and have kept it in amazing condition.  The first four pics are mine and the last few are hers. This is what Allison had to say about this beauty:

The deeply chased band is my favorite part of this ring and this type of chasing is indicative of the late 18th century, as well as the portrait style bezel.  A lot of cameos in the 1770s/80s have this style of bezel. The ruby is 4.6 mm x 6.7 mm.

There is minor discoloration at the bottom of the stone from the foiling having slightly deteriorated from age and moisture.  That is very common with antique foiled Georgian pieces.  I don’t think it detracts, though, from the overall vibrancy of the pinkish ruby.
